The Missouri TEAP program is intended to provide
technical assistance to communities that lack the
funds or expertise to adequately address local
traffic problems. The program is sponsored by the
Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) in
conjunction with the Missouri Division of Highway
Safety, FHWA/USDOT. Funds are available on a
first-come, first-serve basis with 80% of the
study-related costs paid directly by MoDOT and 20 %
paid by the local agency (City, County, other) as a
local match. There is a maximum MoDOT contribution
of $8,000 per project.
CBB coordinates with MoDOT to determine the
availability of funding and will meets with the
local agency to identify the required scope of
services. All necessary applications are completed
and submitted by CBB on behalf of the local agency.
Recent TEAP Projects Include: Arnold, Clayton,
Franklin County, Maryland Heights, Rolla, St.
Charles, St. Peters, and University City, Missouri
