GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS

CBB assists with building and maintaining GIS spatial geodatabases. GIS is a geographic data visualization, query and mapping system that can locate and inventory systems by tying a point on a map to a database with all pertinent information. The applications of the program are exponential. A city may tie all parcel, tax, zip code, easements, utilities, land use, roadways, and several other items into a single database and then have the ability to interactively find information about a single parcel with the click of a button.
