Scott Laxton, PE, PTOE, has joined the team at CBB to supplement signal operations projects. Mr. Laxton holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla. He is registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Florida, as well as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) as certified by the Transportation Professional Certificate Board.
Mr. Laxton comes to CBB with 16 years of experience in the industry. Most recently, Mr. Laxton served as a Traffic Engineering Manager for Albeck Gerken, Inc., where he was involved with signal retiming projects and preparation of engineering reports. As traffic engineer for various traffic signal operations projects, Mr. Laxton has been involved in providing support for Traffic Management Center operations, as well as the development of alternate timing plans for special events, including major construction and accident diversion detours, and the development of initial signal timings for new installation. In addition to these services, as traffic engineer Mr. Laxton has worked to address citizen concerns and operational issues.
