Meet the Staff Monday: Lance Feldmann

Meet the Staff Monday: Lance Feldmann

This month’s Meet the Staff Monday features Lance Feldmann, who is a Transportation Operations Specialist at CBB.  Lance joined the CBB team full time after graduating from Saint Louis University with a BS in Civil Engineering.  His primary role at CBB is as a traffic operator at the City of Saint Louis’s Traffic Information Center.

  1. The best vacation I have ever taken: Going to Aspen, Colorado, with family and friends my senior year. I love being outdoors and seeing the magnitude of mountains in person was amazing.  Hiking and seeing the incredible views at such high elevation is something I will never forget.
  2. Aside from role at CBB, my other job is: My favorite hobby is fishing. I prefer to bass fish but I have also gone deep sea fishing and that was a blast as well!
  3. If I could travel anywhere in the world it would be… Italy! I really love pasta and I would love to see the history in cities like Rome and Milan.
  4. During my time working as an engineer my most memorable experience has been: The Civil Giving Wiffle Ball Tournament. Even though CBB didn’t come out on top, it was a ton of fun!  Seeing fellow CBB employee Rob Twillman mash a walk off homerun was a sight to see.
  5. The sport I most enjoy watching is…and my favorite team… Basketball is my favorite sport and I love my Saint Louis Billikens! While I was at SLU the basketball team had a very successful run.  After a few down years recently the future is bright and I can’t wait to watch their upcoming success.
  6. My favorite thing about working at CBB is: The family atmosphere. I was so blown away by how friendly and caring everyone was at CBB during my internship.  I immediately knew I didn’t want to work anywhere else.  It’s always a fun time in the office!
  7. Favorite Quote: “Don’t count the days, make the days count.”- Muhammad Ali

I know it may be a bit cheesy, but I think doing what we can to enjoy each day is important. -Lance
