Design technicians are responsible for preparing exhibits, conceptual drawings or other graphic materials that convey traffic data and recommended improvements as part of documentation and presentation of traffic studies. The position involves frequent interaction with staff engineers and periodically with clientele, including developers, agencies and municipalities.

CBB is seeking entry-level or experienced individuals. CADD and graphic skills are a must; candidates should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation, Corel Draw, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

Experience with roadway and highway design projects is preferred. Creativity and an understanding of traffic and transportation issues are a plus. Flexibility is also desired, and technicians may occasionally be asked to participate in field work, data collection efforts and traffic studies.
